No matter what your speed or vacation style - from honeymoon to 50th anniversary celebration and all the special moments in between there are many things for you to do when visiting St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands. To help you plan to get the most out of your trip, we have a number of suggested itineraries: 5 days of Relaxation, 5 days of Nature and here is 5 Days of Adventure.
High Energy and High Adventure?
If you are looking for high energy and high adventure activities during your stay in the Virgin Islands, we have the perfect 5-day itinerary:
Day 1
Get this party started right with a full day boat tour. From a laid-back sailboat to a high-speed power boat, you can find a boat tour that is just right for you. Spend the day island hopping, visiting amazing beach bars, turtle watching, snorkeling - or all the above. Spend a day out on the water!
After your boat day, relax by the pool for a bit, then get cleaned up and walk downtown to Cafe Amalie or the Green House for drinks and local cuisine.
Day 2
Schedule one of the interactive experiences at Coral World, our local aquarium and sea adventure place. Swim with dolphins, make some sea lion friends or do an underwater SeaTrek in an old school diving bell. You won't believe how close you can get to the animals! There are also plenty of opportunities to capture the perfect moment for the 'gram or to send back to jealous friends.
Next, walk over to Coki Beach, which is just steps away. You can schedule a Discovery Dive Session with Coki Dive Center or grab some beach chairs and order food and drinks from the different beach restaurants. Relax until the sun goes down on one of the liveliest beaches on island.
Day 3
Take a hike. Mermaid's Chair or the Magen's Bay Trail are two great options on St. Thomas for an easy to moderate hike down to the water. Pack more water than you think you will need, a hat and some sun protection.
Keep the nature theme going today and schedule a night snorkel or night kayak tour. The animal life is different at night, and you don't have to worry about the sun.
After your late-night adventure, head over to Red Hook for dinner.
Day 4
Get up in the air. Depending on the time of year you may be able to skydive, flyboard, zipline or parasail. Reservations are needed in advance for all these heart racing experiences.
Spend time on the beach before heading over to Paradise Point. Take the gondola ride up and enjoy cocktails and dinner with breath taking views of the Harbor. (Reservations needed!)
Day 5
Catch your own dinner. Charter with one of our fishing tour companies and take your fresh catch of the day to one of our fine dining establishments to prepare it for you. (Call ahead!)
