This information is meant to provide answers to our guests most frequent questions. If there is something we did not cover or if you need anything else, please don’t hesitate to ask!
Solar is our primary power source and collected/filtered rain water is our primary water source. Please turn off lights, A/C etc when you leave your room. If you have any problem with a leaky faucet or running toilet in your room please tell us immediately. We appreciate your help with this as power and water are precious here in paradise.
Security
For everyone’s security and privacy we keep our front gate locked at all times.
Some of our guests may be travelling with others who are staying at a different property. Please do not invite others onto the property without letting us know beforehand.
Swim at your own risk, as there is no lifeguard present and the pool is deep, but not deep enough for diving.
Do not bring glass into the pool area. Please use the plastic cups provided.
Health & Safety
The Health department requires our entire property to be non-smoking. Please smoke outside of the gate.
Dining tables are placed to maximize distancing. A table will be assigned to your room for the duration of your stay.
Please wash hands/use provided hand sanitizer before using the water dispenser.
Room Privacy/Housekeeping
Please close the wooden blue shutters when you need more privacy or darkness than the lace curtains provide.
Housekeeping
Housekeeping will be provided upon request. Please bring your garbage and food waste out to the blue garbage cans outside of your room each day. If you need to exchange towels or sheets, please let us know.
Need something?
We have umbrellas, beach chairs, and beach coolers available for you to borrow in the lobby.
An iron and ironing board can be brought to your room, if needed.
If you forgot an essential toiletry, we may have one we can give you. If not, we’ll tell you where it's for sale. Don’t hesitate to ask!

Safari Bus - Got lots of time? Want a truly island experience?
There is an open air safari bus that runs for $1-$2 per person each direction. It does NOT go to the airport, or Magens’ Bay, but it does eventually go to Redhook. You can get to two beaches via the Safari - Brewer’s Bay or Lindquist Beach (Smith Bay). It can be difficult to get back from Lindquist! There are frequent stops and no time schedule. Safaris stop running after dark. If you want a quirky look into island living, try the bus. If you have a schedule and want to get to a specific location - skip it and take a taxi.
