Flexible Cancellation & Guarantee Policy (COVID-19 response):
Deposit of first night' stay due 14 days prior to arrival is non-refundable. The balance of the reservation will be charged to the card on file on your check in date. Guest can cancel up to 14 days prior to arrival with no penalty.
This policy is currently in effect for new reservations for travel through 11/15/2021.
Standard Guarantee Policy:
50% deposit due at time of booking. The balance will be charged to the card on file on your check in date, unless otherwise requested by the guest in advance. Our property is non-smoking including all common areas and guest rooms. If there is evidence of smoking in a room a cleaning fee of $250 will be charged. Guests will be held responsible for any loss or damage to hotel property caused by themselves, their guests or any person for whom they are responsible. Guests specifically authorize management to charge the credit card on file for any damage or cleaning charge. Guests agree to conduct themselves in a respectful manner and will not cause nuisance or annoyance within the hotel premises. Management has the right to request/demand that any guest vacate their room or other areas of the hotel without prior notice and without providing any reason whatsoever. All determinations by management are final.
Standard Cancellation Policy:
Deposits are fully refundable if cancellation occurs more than 45 days from the date of arrival. Deposits on cancellations of less than 45 days from arrival may be credited to a future stay. The entire booking must be canceled in writing at least 48 hours prior to check-in in order to use the deposit towards a future booking. The cancellation policy does not apply to late check-ins caused by travel delays, or no-shows. Guests are strongly encouraged to obtain travel insurance.
Rates are subject to change at any time. We reserve the right to raise or lower the nightly room rate or run certain specials or discounts. Those discounts are limited in nature.
Single Night Stays:
Payment in full is due at the time of booking for any single night stay. Single night stays are non-refundable. Cancellation will result in loss of the entire full deposit.
Privacy & Data Sharing:
By providing your email address and phone number, you consent to be contacted periodically by At Home in the Tropics, MJB Caribbean Ventures, Inc. and/or its agents and representatives, including consenting to receive marketing emails and materials. We resepect your privacy and will not share your data with other entity or organization.
Given the historic nature of our property we may not be able to accommodate guests with physical disabilities or severe handicaps. Guest are required to navigate the government owned step street in order to get to our property. These steps are varying and uneven, and can not be avoided. Once you get into our property there are only few steps, and some uneven brick walkways. Please contact us if you have any concerns or questions regarding our property.
Gift cards carry no cash value. Any gift card expires exactly three (3) years from the date of issuance. Gift cards are, however, fully transferable upon notice and consent of the hotel.
Management reserves the right to update policies and/or run promotions with non-refundable rates. These policies apply to reservations booked directly with At Home in the Tropics and may vary if a reservation is made through any other agent.
